DecisionNumbers turns everyday questions into structured comparisons across cost, time, usage, useful life and break-even. Instead of hiding assumptions behind a recommendation, the calculator keeps the important inputs visible so you can test your own scenario.
The launch library focuses on practical, low-risk comparisons such as transport, housing costs, technology, subscriptions, food, work routines, learning and household choices.
Published tools vs the catalog roadmap
Only reviewed calculators are presented as published tools. The production package contains a structured catalog of 100,000 decision topics across 40 master categories and 1,000 subcategories. Only fully reviewed calculators receive public calculator pages; catalog size is not treated as a substitute for useful content.
New pages remain out of search and advertising until their formula, wording, usability and risk boundaries have been checked.
Built for long-term scale
The data model already supports 100,000 distinct decision records, reusable calculation families and versioned updates. Stable IDs separate the underlying decision from its display name or language, which reduces the need for repeated architecture changes as the library grows.
Global-ready by architecture
Country, currency, measurement and language layers are kept separate from the core decision model. The launch interface supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Urdu and Hindi, including right-to-left layout where required. English remains the canonical search-indexed content language until each localized editorial page has completed a separate language-quality review.
What DecisionNumbers does not do
DecisionNumbers does not diagnose medical conditions, predict investment returns, make legal determinations or replace regulated professional advice. High-risk subjects are either limited to educational comparisons with clear assumptions or excluded from the platform.
